After the completion of a successful Beautillion for our High School seniors, Alpha Merit will be reconvening with the National Pan-Hellenic Council's Teen Summit event "iMovement".
The iMovement Teen Summit is an open forum for teens aged 13-18 to speak about a wide range of topics centered on issues they face in their society.
Originally stemming from an open discussion about the shooting of Trayvon Martin case, it evolved to more topics such as peer pressure, cyber bullying, and how to be a leader in your community.
This year, we will discuss how to prepare for life after high school. Whether this be going to college or immediately developing a trade skill, there are many options one has to bring value to themselves and the world around them. The event will consist of a group of panelists from different career fields that will engage with the teens about the many things the world has to offer and how they can make an impact.
