Dear Parents and Scholars,
On February 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Dallas, Alpha Merit Scholars will participate in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s National Project Alpha Program.
Project Alpha is a collaborative initiative designed specifically for young males ages 12–15. The program focuses on education, motivation, and skill-building related to personal responsibility, healthy relationships, teen pregnancy prevention, and sexually transmitted diseases.
The program consists of structured workshops and informational sessions led by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity brothers, who provide accurate, age-appropriate information in a supportive environment.
The three core goals of Project Alpha are:

Sharing Knowledge by combating fear and misinformation with factual education

Changing Attitudes by encouraging positive decision-making and responsible behavior

Providing Skills by building self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of empowerment
