Alpha Merit Parents, Scholars and Stakeholders
On Saturday, August 22nd, the Alpha Merit Program will host a Career Exploration Workshop with the Dallas Police Department.
This workshop will provide scholars with an opportunity to explore careers in law enforcement and public safety. Scholars will learn more about the profession, interact with law enforcement professionals, and participate in activities designed to provide firsthand exposure to careers within the field.

Date: Saturday, August 22nd Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: 5310 Red Bird Center Dr., Dallas, TX Attire: Alpha Merit T-shirt and comfortable clothing/shoes appropriate for outdoor activities
New Scholars: If you are new to the Alpha Merit Program and have not received an Alpha Merit T-shirt, one will be provided.
Important Reminder for Parents: Scholars will be participating in outdoor activities during a portion of the workshop. Please make sure your scholar arrives well-hydrated and prepared for the outdoor activities and summer weather. Scholars are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
